Police Locate Remains Of Nate Young. Maryland Natural Resources Police said they recovered the body of 27-year-old Nate Young Friday around 6 p.m. from the Magothy River. Officials said that the man’s family was notified and that they would take the body to the medical examiner for an autopsy. Earlier, officials said Young jumped from a 20-foot pleasure boat near Dobbins Island on Thursday evening, but did not come back up.

Boy Waiting To Join 4th Of July Parade, Falls, Dies.  Police said a 7-year-old boy died after falling from a vehicle heading to participate in the Annapolis Independence Day parade. The boy fell Thursday evening on Amos Garrett Boulevard, where the line was forming to join the parade. Surveillance video from a business on Amos Garrett Boulevard shows the start of the parade. That camera also captured what happened to the boy.

Former Broadneck Teacher Gets Probation For Explicit Photos. A former Anne Arundel County teacher has been given probation after admitting to exchanging sexually explicit photos with a male student. Erin Thorne, of Arnold, was also ordered at her sentencing hearing Wednesday to stay away from the man, now 19, to whom she sent graphic photos. She called her actions “inexcusable.”

98 Rock Switches Lineup After Mikey’s Departure.  WBAL-TV’s sister radio station 98 Rock has announced a new weekday lineup starting Monday. The new “98 Rock Morning Show” will be hosted by Justin Schlegel, Scott Reardon and Josh Speigel. Schlegel most recently hosted “Afternoon Drive,” while Reardon will be making the transition from morning show producer to on-air talent. Spiegel will continue his duties as “news genius.”
