Woman In Bay Bridge Crash Released From Hospital. A collision between a tractor-trailer and a vehicle Friday night sent the car over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and into the water. It happened around 8:24 p.m. on the eastbound span about 200 yards from the toll plaza. “A three-car collision occurred on the eastbound Bay Bridge. It involved a tractor-trailer and two passenger vehicles,” Maryland Transportation Authority Police 1st Sgt. Jonathan Green told 11 News.

Woman Charged With Leaving Dog Inside Car.  A Harford County woman has been charged with animal cruelty after authorities say she left her dog in an overheated car while she went shopping. The sheriff’s office said Daphne Luckhardt was arrested after deputies were called Friday afternoon to the parking lot of the Kohl’s department store in Forest Hill. She’s accused of leaving her Australian Cattle/Beagle mix dog inside her car, with the doors locked and the windows only slightly ajar.

City Police: Girl, 16, Dies After Throat Slashing. Baltimore City police are investigating the fatal throat-slashing of a 16-year-old girl. Diamond Williams’ family searched their Ashburton neighborhood for her when she had not returned home Thursday. Her father found her just before 1 a.m. Friday on steps leading to the basement of a northwest Baltimore business in the 3000 block of Liberty Heights Avenue — a few blocks from her home.

Pair Arrested In Glen Burnie Bank Robbery.  Anne Arundel County police said they arrested two people in connection with a bank robbery in Glen Burnie. Officers were called to PNC Bank in the 7300 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie around 2 p.m. Wednesday. Police said a man came into the bank, passed a note to the teller announcing a robbery and left with an undetermined amount of money.
