1 Killed, 1 Injured In Davidsonville CrashAnne Arundel County police said one person was killed and another was critically injured in a single-car crash in Davidsonville. Crews were called to Route 424 and Kent Drive around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Officials said one person was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead. The other victim, a 25-year-old man, was rushed to Shock Trauma in critical condition, but officials said he is expected to recover.

3 Men Sought In Royal Farms Armed Robbery.  Annapolis police are searching for three men who they said robbed a convenience store Tuesday. Police said the men robbed the Royal Farms store in the 400 block of Sixth Street shortly after 2 a.m. Police said one of the men scouted the store to make sure it was clear before the two other men — one armed with a weapon — jumped over the counter and stole cash and cigarettes. The men fled on foot.

New Anne Arundel Police Chief Sworn In.  Kevin Davis was sworn in Tuesday as the new police chief in Anne Arundel County. The former assistant chief in Prince George’s County took the oath of office Tuesday morning. He has spent more than two decades working as a police officer. “My responsibility, solemn responsibility, is to build an environment of trust within this agency and the community, and I promise you, I’ll do just that,” Davis said.

Ft. Meade Bars Service Members From Gas Station. The Fort Meade garrison commander is barring service members from a Hanover gas station. The commander ordered that the Exxon station on Ridge Road in Hanover be added to the list of prohibited sites after authorities reported that a synthetic marijuana product known as Spice is sold there. It was initially placed off-limits in January but was removed in February after the owner said the station no longer sold the product.
