Police: Attacker Arrest In Crofton Robbery, Assault. One man was arrested in connection with a robbery in Crofton, Anne Arundel County police said. Officers were called to the 2000 block of Davidsonville Road for a robbery report around 8 a.m. Monday. A 21-year-old man told police he just walked out of a store when a man approached him and asked for money. The victim took out his wallet to give the man money when he was suddenly assaulted, police said.

BWI Flight Makes Emergency Landing. A Southwest Airlines flight that left Baltimore bound for Las Vegas landed in Kansas City early Tuesday afternoon. The plane, Flight 185, landed because of an engine problem. It left Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport at about 7 a.m.

Police Catch Suspected Purse SnatcherAnne Arundel County police say they caught a purse snatcher who struck twice in Glen Burnie. Officers were called to the 6600 block of Shelly Road for a robbery report around 11 a.m. Monday. A 75-year-old Glen Burnie woman told police she was walking home from the Giant in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway when a man forcibly grabbed her purse from her.

4 People Shot In West Baltimore.  Someone shot four men sitting on steps Tuesday afternoon in west Baltimore, not far from the scenes of other recent shootings, city police said. Officers were called to the 600 block of North Carrollton Avenue some time after 2:30 p.m. WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team lead investigative reporter Jayne Miller said four men who were shot suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
