“We are proud to offer a world class festival with renowned Irish bands, local vendors and dance troupes, but we also really like the fact that the Annapolis Irish Festival gives back to the community by donating a portion of the proceeds to local charities.  This year, we will be providing much needed funds to Hospice of the Chesapeake, the Chesapeake Bay Trust, and the Wellness House of Annapolis and new this year, we will also be donating to St. Jude’s Research Hospital for Children,” said Eddie McGowan, Festival Organizer. He added,” last year, we gave our charities over $40,000 and we’re hoping it’s even more this year!”
