The Bowie Baysox will be hosting a baby shower for North West, the daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. The baby shower will be held during the game Tuesday, July 2 as the Baysox take on the Akron Aeros at 7:05 pm at Prince George’s Stadium. Fans are asked to bring new and gently used baby toys and clothes as gifts for North West in the event that the happy family attends the game that night. In the likely scenario the West-Kardashian family does not attend the game, the donations will be given to the Gabriel Project Maternity Home located in Bowie.
Promotions and entertainment that night will be based on Kanye, Kim, and their newborn baby, North. Traditional shower games will be played between innings, Kanye’s music will be played, and Kim’s…fame will be highlighted. Fans that bring new and gently used baby toys and clothes will be entered into Baysox raffles that will take place throughout the game. Anybody sharing North’s birthday of June 15 or who has the name North or West in their first, middle or last name will receive a specially priced $11 Tightwad Tuesday ticket for the game. Fans must show official ID to claim their discounted ticket. A congratulatory card and other celebratory gifts will be available for fans to sign for the West-Kardashian family.
Baysox Promotions Manager Chris Rogers can’t wait for the big event. “My wife and I have also recently welcomed our first daughter into the world, so I completely commiserate with the sleepless nights Kim and Kanye must be experiencing as new parents,” Rogers yawned. “Our friends and family put on a great shower for us and I feel that the Baysox have an opportunity to host an even bigger and better celebration for North “Nori” West, the most famous baby alive. At least until the Royal Baby is born.”
July 2 is also Tailgate Tuesday, when all fans with tickets to the game are invited to come out to the ballpark early to enjoy $2 12 oz. Budweiser and Bud Light drafts from 5:00-7:00pm (Proper I.D. Required). Kanye is obviously invited to perform at his daughter’s shower, but just in case he misses out, entertainment will be provided by Terry Glaze, former lead singer of Pantera. Additionally, the Tightwad Tuesday ticket deal rewards fans that purchase a Box Seat ticket with a voucher for two FREE Esskay Hot Dogs, peanuts, and popcorn.
