Police: Man Robbed 2 Gas Stations At Gunpoint. Police in Anne Arundel County are searching for a man in connection with two armed robberies of gas stations. A man robbed a gas station at gunpoint in Linthicum Heights late Wednesday evening, police said. County police said the man entered the store in the 700 block of Nursery Road shortly before 11 p.m., displayed a handgun and took cash.

Mom Found Incompetent In Toddler’s Death. A woman accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter and putting her body in a trash bin has been found incompetent to stand trial. Chelsea Michelle Booth, 25, of Annapolis, will stay at a state psychiatric hospital. She had been committed without bail to the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for treatment and examination.

Former Police Officer Convicted Of Sex Offense.  A former Baltimore City police officer was convicted Thursday a third-degree sex offense. Prosecutors had accused Troy Gee of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl while she was visiting his home in December 2011. Last year, the WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team uncovered that this was the third accusation against him of sexually assaulting a minor. The first came in March 2008, ending in his resignation from the Police Department and three years of probation.

Police Question Truck Driver In Rosedale Train Derailment.  Investigators have interviewed the refuse truck driver in last month’s train derailment and explosion in Rosedale the same day CSX filed a lawsuit, according to new details from Baltimore County police and fire officials. The CSX freight train pushed the truck with John Alban Jr. behind the wheel almost immediately off the tracks, not far from the private rail crossing, before an explosion erupted.
