Anne Arundel County Robberies Under InvestigationAnne Arundel County police said they are investigating two robberies. Officers were called to the Shell gas station in the 700 block of Nursery Road in Linthicum for a report of an armed robbery around 12 p.m. Wednesday. Police said that a man entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, who handed over an undetermined amount of cash from a register.

Police Recover $25K In Jewelry, Arrest ThreeAnne Arundel County police said they recovered nearly $25,000 in jewelry from three men who were apprehended after a brief police pursuit and foot chase. Officers were called to the 1600 block of Dunstable Green in Annapolis for report of a burglary around 12:40 p.m. Tuesday. Officers were given the description of a white Ford Expedition that was involved and a short time later, an officer saw the SUV traveling north on Interstate 97 near Route 32.

Man Charged In Killing, Raping 10-Year Old Kami Ring.  The man taken into custody as a person of interest in the death of a 10-year-old Cecil County girl has been charged with killing and raping her. Police said Richard Eugene Madden, 29, was arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with Kami Ring’s death. He had been held since Tuesday at the Cecil County Detention Center on a parole violation stemming from drug charges.

Police Ask For Help In Finding Home Invasion Trio. Baltimore County police are asking for the public’s help finding three men responsible for a home invasion robbery in Wilkens. Officers were called to a home in the 300 block of Stratford Road for a home invasion around 5 a.m. on May 12. The victims told police three armed men came into their home and demanded property.
