The Mitchell Gallery at St. John’s College will celebrate its recent accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums with its first national juried exhibition, “Less is More: Small Works in a Great Space,” on view from May 30 to June 19. A gala preview opening, where guests will have the first opportunity to purchase the original works of art in the exhibition, will be held in the Mitchell Gallery and the Francis Scott Key Lobby on Wednesday, May 29 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $75; Until May 15, a special pricing of $50 is available to St. John’s College alumni and members of the Mitchell Gallery. Food and beverages will be provided by local restaurants and businesses. Live music will be performed by the Rob Levit Duo. Proceeds from the exhibition support Mitchell Gallery educational programs.
