The award recognizes Maryland restaurants that “embody the spirit of the hospitality industry” as reflected in their “longevity and overall contributions to their customers and the industry as a whole.” Carrol’s Creek Cafe Owner Jeff Jacobs and General Manager Richard McClure received the award from Marshall Weston, Jr., the association’s president and CEO.

“We are very honored to receive this award on the 30th anniversary of our restaurant,” said Jacobs. “It’s a pleasure for us to serve our customers and be recognized by our fellow members of the Restaurant Association of Maryland.”

The restaurant, which offers diners one of the best waterfront views in Annapolis, is known for its innovative brunch, lunch and dinner menus that feature a wide selection of fresh seafood and quality meats. Its signature cream of crab soup has won numerous awards in regional competitions.
