In a story broken by ABC 2 News’ Joce Sterman, an Anne Arundel County woman has filed a $32 million dollar lawsuit against more than 100 plaintiffs who viewed pornographic images of her children which were taken by her former husband and a friend.
The images were widely circulated as part of a child porn series known as “DKNY” or “YKND”. The lawsuit, according to Steve Kelly (her attorney), is based upon a federal statute known as “Masha’s Law”. The statute was enacted in 2009 as a way to break down the growing market for child porn by imposing civil penalties on those who create, trade and view it.
