1 Killed In Motorcycle Collision. An early-morning motorcycle collision with a box truck left one man dead, said Anne Arundel County police. The fatal accident occurred Saturday at about 5:40 a.m. Police said the motorcycle driver, James Garrett Henderson, 27, died from his injuries at Shock Trauma. The preliminary investigation determined that a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2000 Isuzu box truck were traveling westbound on Maryland Route 100 near Maryland Route 295.

Man Leaves Work, Stabbed To Death In Baltimore.  Baltimore City police are investigating a fatal early-morning stabbing. Police responded at about 2:18 a.m. Sunday to the 200 block of East Pratt Street.  Two unknown individuals had started an argument with a 20-year-old man who had just left his job. The argument escalated and the victim was stabbed multiple times in the upper body.

Police: Domestic Violence, Arson Suspect Arrested. Howard County police have arrested a suspect who they believe assaulted a woman in an apartment and then intentionally set the place on fire. Alejandro Adolfo Rodriguez, 25, of the 5300 block of Harpers Farm Road in Columbia, was arrested by warrant officers around 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the 5400 block of Eliots Oak Road in Columbia.

Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher Dies. Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher died Monday following a stroke, her spokeswoman confirmed. Britain’s only female prime minister, Thatcher served from 1979 to 1990 as leader of the Conservative Party. She was called the “Iron Lady” for her personal and political toughness.
