Hospice of the Chesapeake announced today that Praxis Engineering of Annapolis Junction raised $6,000 at the fifth annual “Bowling for Betty” event in memory of Betty A. Lyman.  The event held at the Greenway Bowling Center in Odenton, will support the organization’s programs and services in both Anne Arundel and Prince George’s Counties.

“Praxis Engineering continues to support our programs with this annual bowling event that signifies their dedication to Hospice of the Chesapeake’s mission in the community. We are so grateful of their efforts,” said Michael S. McHale, President and CEO.

”We are so happy we are able to help Hospice of the Chesapeake continue their tremendous work.  They provide such caring and critical support to families in need.  We are blessed to have them as such an integral part of our community; we felt we just needed to give back, if even just a little,” said Cindy Loftus, Praxis Engineering.
