Great Harvest Celebrating 5 Year Anniversary

GreatHarvestThe Great Harvest Bakery in Annapolis is celebrating its five-year anniversary celebration this month to thank customers and the community for their support and friendship. Husband-and-wife owners Thomas and Pam Storm opened the doors to their bakery April 20, 2008, and have been baking up whole grain breads and specialty sweets featuring daily-milled whole grain flour and pure-and-simple ingredients ever since.

Throughout the month, in-store giveaways will take place each week for goodies like gift cards, t-shirts, gift baskets, and even a Great Harvest baker’s hat. Online giveaways for the bakery’s Facebook following will also take place regularly in April for the store’s friends. Find the bakery at www.Facebook.com/GreatHarvestAnnapolis .

A special April 20 celebration will include generous samples of popular breads and sweets, free birthday brownies and coffee, a chance to meet the bakery’s official Baker Bee mascot, a free bakery decal, and more. The party will last from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Storms are long time Annapolitans. They fell in love here, they were married here (thirty years ago), they raised their four children here, and they bought a bakery here. They view the bakery as just one more way to meet more amazing people here in Naptown.

“We’re grateful for the opportunity to make new friends and to be part of their every day routine as well as holidays and celebrations by making delicious breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, and more,” said Pam. “We hope everyone stops by the anniversary celebration on April 20 and throughout the month so we can show our deep appreciation.”

Families can get in on the fun by picking up one of the bakery’s anniversary coloring pages and returning it for a free cookie.

The Annapolis Great Harvest Bakery offers a wide range of fresh-baked, handcrafted whole grain breads such as Honey Whole Wheat, High Five Fiber, and Dakota. Other popular specialty breads include Cinnamon Chip, Jalapeno Cornbread, White Cheddar Garlic, Cranberry Crunch, and Apple Cinnamon Swirl.
