Around 90 students’ artworks will be featured in the annual Student Art Show April 15-May 8 in the Cade Center for Fine Arts Gallery at Anne Arundel Community College.
Work shown will include art in all media. The art is selected by juror Ledelle Moe, a sculptor and professor of art at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. The juried show presents the opportunity for students to go through a selection process by an outside art professional.
He will give a juror’s talk at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18. A reception for the artists will be at the gallery from 6 to 8 p.m. that night. The exhibit, talk and reception are free and open to the public.
The Cade Center for Fine Arts Gallery is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays and is on the AACC Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. For information, contact Chris Mona, AACC professor of visual arts, at 410-777-7028, [email protected] or www.aacc.edu/cadegallery.
