UPDATE: According to police, the woman was a resident and was unable to get out of the door to the apartment and attempted to exit out of the window. She remains in serious condition at shock-trauma.
A 42 year-old woman fell from a 2nd story window along Main Street in Annapolis this morning. The Annapolis Fire Department was dispatched to 138 Main Street at 7:20am.
After falling approximately 35′, the patient suffered a head injury that required MSP to fly her to Shock-Trauma via helicopter. Fire Department personnel transported her to the rear of the Eastport fire station where she was flown to shock-trauma.
It is unclear how the woman ended up falling from the window, but we will update this story as information becomes available.
