Family, Coach Of Fallen Marine: He Was Our Hero. A Severna Park native is among those who died in a military training exercise, family members told WBAL-TV 11 News Wednesday afternoon. The Marine is the third Maryland military member killed this month. Family said William “Taylor” Wild IV, 21, was among seven Marines who died when a mortar shell exploded at a Nevada military base, sending shrapnel flying into troops.

Police Investigate Incident At Glen Burnie SchoolAnne Arundel County police are investigating an incident at a Glen Burnie school. Monsignor Slade Catholic School officials said a teacher noticed an unidentified man inside the building around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday. The teacher did not recognize the individual and noticed the person was not wearing a visitor’s badge and when she addressed the man he told her he was looking for an exit, officials said.

Table Games Arrive At Maryland LIVE Casino. Table games officially made their way into the Maryland Live Casino on Wednesday, even though patrons can’t play them just yet. Casino officials told 11 News that the 122 live-action table games arrived at the Arundel Mills casino early Wednesday morning. “In my opinion, this is the last piece of the true entertainment puzzle we’ve been trying to put together here.  Adding live table games will change the entire feel and excitement of this facility, and for the better,” said Maryland Live General Manager Robert Norton.

Police: Look Twice For Motorcycles. With warmer weather on the way, the Anne Arundel County Police Department wants to remind drivers and motorcycle riders of the importance of safe driving behaviors. The safe travel of vehicles on roadways within our county is a shared responsibility for all operators. Driver and rider education and awareness are part of the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s comprehensive traffic safety plan. Together we can prevent a crash and safeguard all vehicle operators on our roadways.
