Legislators Introducer School CPR Requirement. State legislators have introduced a law that will make learning hands-only CPR training a high school graduation requirement. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is life-saving emergency procedure. “Only 11 percent of people who have sudden cardiac arrest out of the hospital survive, and survival is dependent upon somebody in the area who sees that person’s arrest, who knows CPR and immediately initiates CPR until the paramedics come,” said Michaeline Fedder with the American Heart Association.

2 Women Robbed In Linthicum.  Anne Arundel County police said they are looking for a robber who struck in Linthicum. Officers were called to the parking lot of Snyder’s Willow Grove Restaurant in the 800 block of Hammonds Ferry Road North around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. A 31-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman told police they were in the parking lot when a man approached them, produced a handgun and demanded money. The victims complied and gave the robber an undisclosed amount of money.

2 Arrested In Glen Burnie Drug Bust. Two people were arrested in a Glen Burnie drug bust. Anne Arundel County detectives executed a narcotics search warrant at 218 Scotts Manor Drive in Glen Burnie around 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Authorities said when they entered the home one person was flushing several baggies of cocaine down the bathroom toilet. All occupants in the house were detained and detectives seized four baggies of suspected crack cocaine, (1.85 grams) 5.21 grams of suspected marijuana, $417 in cash and drug paraphernalia (scale and packaging material for distribution).

Man, 20, Dies After Crashing Car Into Home. Police in Anne Arundel County said a 20-year-old man who crashed his car into a home in Edgewater over the weekend has died. Officers were called to the 900 block of Hillside Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, where they found a Honda Civic that had crashed into a house.
