Demoted, Attacked Pizza Hut Deliveryman Reinstated. A Pizza Hut employee demoted after he fended off attackers during a delivery got reinstated as a delivery driver late Wednesday afternoon. The man said he had to defend himself when he was attacked delivering a pizza in Glen Burnie in December. Since then, he said he was moved to a job where he’s barely making enough money to support himself.

2 Injured After Boiler Explosion At Annapolis School. A boiler exploded, injuring two people at a school in Annapolis Wednesday morning. Fire crews were called to Bates Middle School in the 700 block of East Chase Street around 9 a.m., where they found two men suffering from surface burns and respiratory problems. The men were taken to Bayview Burn Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

1 Found Dead In Mobile Home Fire. Officials in Anne Arundel County said a person was killed in a fire in Maryland City on Wednesday morning. Firefighters were called to the unit block of Zona Street around 8:30 a.m., where they found heavy fire coming from a double-wide mobile home in the Parkway Village Mobile Home Park.

Group Robs Man Of Beer In Brooklyn Park.  Police said they are looking for a group of youngsters involved in a storm-arm robbery in Brooklyn Park. It happened in the area of Ballman Avenue in Brooklyn Park around 11:20 p.m. Monday. Officers were in the area of Ballman Avenue when an officer saw a group of boys running down Ballman Avenue onto Hillside Terrace. Police said one of the boys dropped a bag at the corner while running away. The officer lost sight of the juveniles as they scattered through yards.
