Officials Question 3 In Fatal Gen Burnie Shooting.  Three people were taken into custody and questioned in connection with a fatal shooting in Anne Arundel County early Sunday morning. Officers responded to the area of Tanyard Cove Road and Marley Neck Boulevard in Glen Burnie for an unknown disturbance minutes after 4 a.m., officials said.

Leopold Acquitted Of One Charge.  The judge in the trial of John Leopold has acquitted the Anne Arundel County executive of a lesser charge against him on Friday. Judge Dennis Sweeney dropped Count 2 — a misconduct charge concerning security officers helping Leopold remove his political opponent’s campaign signs — but four other charges will remain, WBAL-TV 11 News reporter Lowell Melser reported.

6 Arrested In Pasadena Drug Bust.  Anne Arundel County police said they arrested six people after a drug bust in Pasadena. Authorities targeting drug violations said they served a search warrant at 8313 Tyndswall Place in Pasadena around 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Detectives seized 1.3 ounces of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of $735, a small quantity of suspected prescription medication, related drug paraphernalia, over $730 in cash and a 20-gauge shotgun from the home, police said.

Wintery Mix Coming This Morning.  A winter weather advisory is in effect for much of central and western Maryland early Monday morning. The National Weather Service issued the advisory to take effect 5 a.m. to noon Monday. 11 Insta-Weather PLUS meteorologist John Collins showed at 6 p.m. how storm systems merging over the Midwest are forming a larger storm headed toward Maryland that could bring a wintry mix by sunrise.
