A house fire at 262 King George Street in the Annapolis Historic District has kept fire crews busy this afternoon. The initial call came in shortly before noon and was quickly escalated to to bring in additional resources and was knocked down in less than fifteen minutes. Sources are indicating that the cause may have been electrical in nature, but the investigation has not been done.
Traffic is tied up on College Avenue and King George Street and will be for the next few hours.
