3rd Fatal Shooting At Bar Since 2009Anne Arundel County police are searching for the person involved in a fatal shooting outside of a Glen Burnie bar. Officers responded to Dietrich’s Tavern in the 7000 block of East Furnace Branch Road around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, where they said they found the 31-year-old victim shot to death in the side parking lot of the bar. Police said they have not made any arrests yet but do have a description of a suspect; however, they did not yet release what that description is.

Man Wanted In Credit Card Theft.  Police in Anne Arundel County are asking for the public’s help to find a man who stole a wallet from a car in Crofton on Dec. 17. Police said the man used a credit card at a Royal Farms. If you have any information regarding this investigation, call Detective J.S. Expert: Fiscal Cliff Ramifications Severe For Maryland. If the U.S. does fall off the so-called fiscal cliff this week, Maryland would be hit hard by the loss of hundreds of millions of dollars in funds and tens of thousands of jobs. Maryland has a lot of federal workers and a lot of businesses that rely on the federal government. If partisan politics in Washington prevail and lawmakers can’t reach a budget deal, some experts said Maryland could shoulder a greater burden than other states.

Police: Man Sought After Shooting Sister Through Door. The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who they said shot and wounded his own sister. Officials said 20-year-old Keef Burley was fighting with his family at their home in the 1800 block of Grempler Way in Edgewood late Saturday night when they tried to force him to leave. Officers said as Burley’s mom and sister were shutting the front door on him, he pulled out a gun and shot through the door, hitting his sister in the lower back.
