Police Issue Brief Statement About Annapolis Homicide

UPDATE 12/13/12 at 11:41 am: The deceased victim has been identified as 33 year old Joseph Louis Johnson III of Brooklyn, MD. Mr. Johnson was pronounced deceased by paramedics at the scene. The second victim is a 31 year old female from Annapolis. She is being treated at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma and is listed in critical condition. 

This incident is still under investigation. If anyone has information pertaining to this incident can contact Detective Charles Bealefeld at 410-268-9000 ext 7299.

The Annapolis City police have issued a brief statement about a homicide which took place in the Robinwood neighborhood of the City last night.  They have not released the names of the individuals involved, nor have they released any information about a possible suspect or the scenario which led up to the double shooting.

1400 block Tyler Ave- 12/12 at 9:20 pm:  Officers responded to the 1400 block of Tyler Ave, for a double shooting.  Officers located two victims inside a residence with gunshot wounds.  One victim was pronounced deceased by responding paramedics and the other victim was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with life threatening injuries.
