Hailed by Minnesota Public Radio as a “stunning tour through chant, polyphony, and renaissance harmonies,” renowned vocal quartet New York Polyphony will perform at St. John’s College. The concert is free and open to the public and will be held in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium on Friday, November 16, at 8:15 p.m.

New York Polyphony performs a varied repertoire which ranges from austere medieval melodies to cutting-edge contemporary works. Its members include Geoffrey Williams, countertenor, Steven Caldicott Wilson, tenor, Christopher Dylan Herbert, baritone, and Craig Phillips, bass. New York Polyphony has participated in major concert series and festivals throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Their current CD “Tudor City” spent three weeks in the Top 10 of “Billboard’s” classical album chart. It has been featured on Danish Public Radio, American Public Radio, and National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered.”
