Wikileaks GI To Argue Detention Merits Release. An Army private charged in the biggest security breach in U.S. history is trying to avoid trial by claiming he was already punished enough when he was locked up alone in a small cell and forced to sleep naked for several nights. Pfc. Bradley Manning was expected to testify about his treatment during a pretrial hearing set to begin Tuesday and run through Sunday in a military court at Fort Meade, outside Baltimore. Military officers were expected to testify first, so Manning may not be called to testify until later this week.

1 Killed In Single Vehicle Crash In Crownsville. Anne Arundel County officials are looking into what caused a single-vehicle crash in Crownsville on Tuesday afternoon. Fire and police crews were called to Herald Harbor and Old Herald Harbor roads around 12:30 p.m., where they found a person in a vehicle that had crashed and overturned in the woods.

2 Arrested In Gambrills Drug Bust. Two men were arrested in a drug bust in Gambrills. Anne Arundel County Police Tactical Narcotics Team and Tactical Patrol Unit executed a search and seizure warrant targeting drug violations at 2369 Davidsonville Road shortly before 9 p.m. Monday. Detectives seized approximately 405 grams of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of $8,100 and $914 in cash.

Woman And Sons Beat Up After Road Rage Incident. An Owings Mills woman said her Thanksgiving holiday ended in a terrifying road rage incident in which a hostile driver followed her home, left and then returned with friends who beat up her and her sons. Tranelle Butler said it was close to midnight on Thanksgiving when a gold Toyota Camry cut into her turn lane at Owings Mills and Red Run boulevards. She said she didn’t let the driver in because she didn’t notice him until the road rage began
