Police Arrest Teen In Glen Burnie Home InvasionAnne Arundel County police said they arrested a teenager in connection with a home invasion robbery in Glen Burnie.  Officers were called to a home in the 100 block of Southbridge Drive in Glen Burnie at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday for a report of a home invasion robbery that happened earlier that morning at about 2 a.m.

Police: Robber Assaults Woman, Grabs Purse in Pasadena. A robber assaulted a 65-year-old woman in Pasadena, police said. Anne Arundel County police officers were called the to the 2500 block of Mountain Road for a report of a robbery at 7:26 p.m. Tuesday.  A woman told police she was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot when she was approached by a man, possibly armed with a weapon, who demanded her wallet.

Yankees Take ALDS Lead Over Baltimore Orioles.  The Baltimore Orioles’ excelled in extra innings. Not in Game 3. Raul Ibanez lined a ninth-inning home run while pinch hitting for slumping Alex Rodriguez, then hit a leadoff homer in the 12th, giving the New York Yankees the 3-2 win over the Orioles on Wednesday night for a 2-1 lead in the AL division series.

Brooklyn Park Gravesites Vandalized.  Someone is burglarizing gravesites in Brooklyn Park. Officials at Cedar Hill Cemetery said 75 bronze flower vases were stolen over the weekend, in addition to 30 others that were stolen within the last few weeks, meaning more than 100 vases that are attached to headstones are missing.  Police called it a disturbing crime and, of course, family members are heartbroken.
