3rd Woman Says Leopold Sexually Harassed Her. The WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team has confirmed that another woman has come forward in the sexual harassment case against Anne Arundel County Executive John Leopold. I-Team lead investigative reporter Jayne Miller reported that the details of what the woman said about Leopold and his office are in a signed affidavit in the pending sexual harassment case against the county executive.

Glen Burnie Man Shot In Home Invasion. Police in Anne Arundel County are searching for whoever barged into a man’s home in Glen Burnie, shot him multiple times and then took off. Officers said they were called to the 200 block of Fifth Avenue shortly after 10:30 p.m. Sunday to investigate a home invasion and shooting.

New Anne Arundel County Program To Ensure Safety. The Anne Arundel County Police Department announces the start of the Street Smart Campaign in Anne Arundel County to reduce pedestrian and bicyclist deaths and injuries. The program is a public education, awareness and behavioral change campaign intended to increase pedestrian and bicyclist safety by raising public awareness about these issues.

First Place Orioles Claim Share Of American League East. Mark Reynolds hit a three-run homer, Zach Britton pitched seven innings to win his fourth straight start and the surging Baltimore Orioles pounded the Toronto Blue Jays 12-0 on Tuesday night. With New York trailing late at Tampa, the Orioles had a chance to claim at least a share of first place in September for the first time since 1997, the last time they won the AL East and advanced to the playoffs.
