Pasadena Man Enters Pleas In Stabbing Death Of Wife. Prosecutors said they want to send a Pasadena man to jail for the rest of his life for stabbing his wife 92 times, killing her. Stephen Salb, 52, entered an Alford plea on first-degree murder charges, meaning he maintains his innocence but admits there’s enough evidence for a conviction. Police said Salb killed his 38-year-old wife in July of 2011 after learning she was about to leave him.

Child Booster Seat Law Changes In Maryland.  Starting in October, the law regarding child booster seats is changing. Experts on Thursday said between 80 and 90 percent of parents are doing something wrong when it comes to child safety restraints. One of the biggest mistakes is letting kids graduate to a booster seat too early or for older kids, not making them use a booster seat at all.

2 Arrested In Counterfeit iPhone Scam. The Prince George’s County Police Department said it two people for selling counterfeit iPhones in Lanham. Police said 47-year-old Daniel Parker and 25-year-old Harold Parker were taken into custody after investigators said they received a tip from two local businesses that the scam was taking place outside their stores. Investigators approached the pair and took the men into custody after they tried to sell one of the counterfeit phones to a detective.

MTA Bus Crashes Into Shelter Injuring 7. Baltimore police said possible operator error may have caused a Maryland Transit Administration bus crash that injured several people at a bus shelter at Mondawmin Mall on Thursday. Officials were called to the intersection of Liberty Heights Avenue and Reisterstown Road around 9:30 a.m. after getting reports that a matriculated bus — like one with the accordion middle — crashed into the shelter.
