Anne Arundel County “Joker” Goes Before Judge. The Anne Arundel County man who police said threatened to kill his co-workers and called himself “The Joker” went before a judge Thursday. Neil Prescott, along with his parents, appeared in mental health court in Prince George’s County around 2 p.m. Authorities asked for an update on his condition after his release from an in-patient mental health facility last week.

Man Steals Car From Arundel Mills, Robs Edgewater Home. Authorities said they arrested a man on accusations that he stole a vehicle and burglarizing the owner’s home in Edgewater. Anne Arundel County police officers were called to the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover for report of a stolen vehicle at 6:06 p.m. Wednesday. Police said a woman’s car and house keys were lost while she was inside the Maryland Live Casino and she later discovered her car was also missing.

Police Looking For Teens In Glen Burnie Strong-Arm Robbery.  Anne Arundel County police said they are looking for two teens involved in a strong-arm robbery in Glen Burnie. A 46-year-old man told police he was passing by the community playground on Bruton Drive when he was accosted by two men. Police said the victim was unable to understand any of the demands being made by the men because of a language barrier, but they attempted to remove the victim’s wallet from his pocket.

Shooting Victim Recovers, Friends Want Lady Gaga To Visit. The parents of the 17-year-old Perry Hall shooting victim are talking about their son’s recovery, while a social media push to get a pop superstar to visit the victim might be nearing success. Daniel Borowy’s parents said their son is making some progress in his recovery and that his feeding tube was removed on Thursday. The 17-year-old special-needs student was shot on his first day of school Monday at Perry Hall High School. Friends of the teen have been posting Facebook messages and tweeting in an effort to get the pop superstar to visit him, and it sounds like the social media campaign is working.
