Attorney For Perry Hall Shooter: Bullying Was A Factor. Attorney George Psoras told WBAL-TV 11 News that his client — 15-year-old Bobby Gladden Jr. — brought a gun to Perry Hall High School to intimidate bullies with no intention of pulling the trigger. Psoras said he also believes investigators got the sequence of the shooting wrong. He said the shot that wounded a 17-year-old student on Monday happened accidentally when his client was being subdued.

Road Closures For Baltimore Grand Prix. Baltimore City officials are advising motorists of the various closures and transit modifications around town that started Saturday night in preparation for the Baltimore Grand Prix over Labor Day weekend. As crews continue to put up barriers around the race course, the Department of Transportation is trying to prepare drivers to have alternate routes ready and to expect delays when trying to get to various destinations, especially from the south.

Police Shoot Naked Man With Gun.  Baltimore County police are investigating the circumstances that forced their officers to open fire on a naked man with a gun. Around 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, officers arrived at the Beltway Motel at Washington Boulevard and Wilkens Avenue in Lansdowne after getting reports of a man who had been firing a gun.

70K Chickens Found Dead, Man, 21, Charged. The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office said a 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with the deaths of nearly 70,000 chickens. Authorities said Joshua Shelton has been charged with burglary, malicious destruction of property and trespassing. The Sheriff’s Office said the owner of a farm on East Line Road in Delmar told a deputy early Saturday that the power had been turned off in three poultry houses, which deprived the chickens of food, water and cooling fans. As a result, almost the entire flock had died.
