The Muddy Creek Artists Guild announces its 4th annual Fall “Harvest of Artists” Show hosted by Greenstreet Gardens, 391 West Bay Front Road, Lothian, Maryland 20711, on September 14, 15 & 16, 2012.

Showcasing over 60 local artists, this three-day event has become a community favorite featuring works for sale, art demonstrations, and daily receptions featuring live music and refreshments. Art work includes wood and metal sculpture, clay work, oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings, mixed media, pastels, traditional printmaking, batik, silkscreen, photography, textiles, glass work and jewelry.

Greenstreet Gardens owners Ray and Stacy Greenstreet have graciously opened their beautiful greenhouse showroom as a backdrop for this “Art in the Garden” show. Additionally, outside on their impressive Southern Anne Arundel acreage, local artists will be participating in an En Plein Air event painting the local vista. Visitors are invited to watch them work. Completed paintings will be sold at the show.

Greenstreet Gardens in Lothian, Maryland is a large wholesale and retail operation that features locally grown plant stock, garden furniture, apparel and gifts.

The Muddy Creek Artists Guild holds three shows annually – creating its own gallery in a unique space. The Guild is committed to promote local artists, to educate the public about art techniques, and to support exceptional young artists through annual scholarship awards.

“Harvest of Artists” Show schedule of events:

  • Friday, Sept 14: Gallery open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Meet the Artists Reception from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with food and entertainment
  • Saturday & Sunday, Sept 15 and 16: Gallery open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Muddy Creek Artists Guild begins its fourth year of providing three annual shows in various local venues including South River Colony in Edgewater, the former Blockbuster in Deale, Greenstreet Gardens in Lothian and Memorial Hall in Galesville.
