An accident this afternoon on Forest Drive just before Hillsmere Drive sent three people to the hospital with minor injuries. From initial reports, a vehicle was headed outbound attempting to turn into the Exxon gas station when it was hit broadside by another vehicle traveling on Forest Drive.
Initial reports indicated that the driver had been ejected, but it was later determined that he crawled out of the wreckage on his own. He was treated on scene by paramedics and transported to the hospital along with the two occupants of the other car with minor injuries.
The accident tied up the busy roadway just after 11am this morning and was cleaned up within the hour after the towing company righted the overturned car.
