Youth Resource Guide Available

The Volunteer Center for Anne Arundel County is pleased to release the 2012 – 2013 Youth Resource Guide for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. To view or download a PDF of the Guide, please click here.  A limited number of hard copies can be purchased from the Volunteer Center for $5.00 each.

The 2012-2013 Youth Resource Guide presents information about more than 50 non-profit and faith-based organizations that provide programs and services for youth across the Anne Arundel County community.

The Guide also includes information about Kids at Hope®, a professional development model offering evidence-based protocols and strategies in support of the success of all children. The model is an innovative concept which states and demonstrates that all children are capable of success, NO EXCEPTIONS!

While the updated Resource Guide does not represent the universe of programs that are available for youth in Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis, we hope that the Guide will shed light on local programs that serve our youth and offer opportunities for youth-oriented volunteers.

If you know about local community groups or faith-based organizations that provide services to youth in Annapolis and/or Anne Arundel County, please share that information with us, or have that particular organization contact the Resource Guide Coordinator, Kamilah Tadlock at 410-897-9207 or [email protected].

With your help, the Youth Resource Guide will continue to grow and prove useful to the entire community of Anne Arundel County.
