Union Jacks To Open New Pub In Annapolis

The British Are Coming, The British Are Coming

After more than nine successful years of operation, Wild Willy’s (formerly TK Sharky’s) has been sold to Union Jacks, an upscale British pub style bar and restaurant.

The popular live music venue and sport bar that underwent a transition from TK Sharky’s to Wild Willy’s has been sold to Union Jacks. Known for its oversized viewing screens, pool tables, live music and events, Wild Willy’s is one of the largest bar, restaurant and event venues in the city. The large space, loyal customer base and prime location at Parole Towne Center in Annapolis made it an attractive purchase for Union Jacks, which already has several establishments including Bethesda, Columbia and Ballston, Virginia.

“We want to thank all of our loyal customers, employees and supporters. We have really enjoyed being a part of the Annapolis business community for almost a decade. Union Jacks is a great fit for the space and location, so we feel it is a win-win for everyone,” says Willy Koutroumpis, the owner and visionary behind TK Sharky’s and Wild Willy’s. “We will continue our current operations in the restaurant and bar industry, including Willy K’s in Greenbelt,” Koutroumpis continued.

Plans are underway for Union Jacks to take over the space in the coming months. For more information on Union Jacks of Columbia, visit http://www.unionjackscolumbia.com/.
