Man’s Hand Crushed In Annapolis Incident.  Annapolis Fire Department officials said a 64-year-old man’s hand was crushed during an incident Thursday afternoon. Crews were called to Route 665 (Aris T. Allen Boulevard) and Godspell Way at 12:18 a.m. An Anne Arundel County police Officer, who was already on the scene, took the man’s hand from beneath the wheel of a vehicle.

Mobile Meals Program Feeds Needy Students In Anne Arundel. Schools may be closed for the summer, but it’s not stopping Anne Arundel County from serving meals to students. In fact, a good number of those students have meals delivered to their front door. It is key for needy children who are out of school whose parents may be at work during the day. The goal is to serve more than 100,000 meals before the end of the summer.

Community Helps Find Missing, Spooked Fire Dog. The Fort Meade Fire Department in Anne Arundel County is thanking the community for helping find its missing fire dog who was scared away by Wednesday night’s fireworks. The Fire Department told 11 News that its dog, Beau, was spooked by the exploding fireworks around 9: 40 p.m. and bolted out of the fire station and out of the Fort Meade gate that intersects Route 32 and Route 198.  Beau, who is wearing a wireless fence collar and has a gold name tag that has “Fort Meade Fire Department” on it, was found Thursday afternoon on 295 south of Route 32 by a woman who was headed toward Annapolis.

Man Critically Injured In Glen Burnie Crash.  A man was critically injured when his motor scooter collided with a truck in Glen Burnie. Officers were called to the area of East Ordnance Road west of Blades Lane at 9:09 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators said a motor scooter, driven by 44-year-old Gordon Everett, was traveling westbound on East Ordnance Road in the fast lane.
