Police Accuse Man Of Stabbing Mother.  Police are searching for a Millersville man who is accused of stabbing his mother. Officers said they were called to the 700 block of Stacy Oak Way about 7:30 p.m. Monday in response to a report of family violence. Investigators said officers found a 54-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds when they arrived at the scene.

New Defibrillator Law Helps Save Boy’s Life.  A boy who nearly drowned this weekend at a pool in Anne Arundel County was saved with the help of a new law that mandates all public and semi-public pools have defibrillators. Monique Ward’s 8-year-old son, Ervin, is recovering at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. He was at a birthday party Saturday at the Waugh Chapel Swim Club in Gambrills when bystanders said he was near the slides in the deep end and went under.  Ervin said he remembers very little.

Man Exposes Himself To Woman In Crofton.  Anne Arundel County police are looking for a man who exposed himself to a woman. Officers were call to the area of Assabet Court and Ashburnham Drive in Crofton at about 6:39 p.m. Friday for a report of indecent exposure. A 34-year-old woman told police that she was on the walking path when a man approached her while riding a red mountain bicycle and exposed himself as she walked by.

$50K In Drugs, Guns Seized From Gambrills Home.  Anne Arundel County police detectives said they seized $50,000 in marijuana and numerous weapons during a drug investigation at home in a school zone. Detective said they received several complaints in early July about marijuana being grown and cultivated at a home at 528 Watts Ave. in Gambrills, Md. Through an investigation, detectives identified the homeowner and were able to obtain a search warrant to illegal drug manufacturing which authorities served on Friday.
