3 Men Arrested In Glen Burnie Robbery. Police said three people were arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Glen Burnie. The robbery happened on the unit block of First Avenue at 10:41 p.m. Sunday. The victim, a 21-year-old Glen Burnie man, told police he was walking through the backyard of a home on First Avenue when he was accosted by three men. He said one of the robbers displayed a handgun and demanded money, while a second man repeatedly deployed a stun gun on the victim.

Woman Injured In Laurel Strong Arm Robbery. Police are looking for two men involved in a strong-arm robbery in Laurel. It happened in the 3400 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road at about 11:59 p.m. Sunday. The victim, a 57-year-old woman, and several witnesses told police the woman was walking along Laurel Fort Meade Road when two men approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground and fled on foot with her purse toward Maryland City Plaza.

Police Seek Pasadena Gas Station RobberAnne Arundel County police are looking for a man who robbed a Pasadena gas station. Officers from the Eastern District were called to the Sunflower Shell gas station located in the 8000 block of Ritchie Highway at 9:32 p.m. Saturday. A store clerk told police a man entered the story and requested change before displaying a handgun. The robber than leaned over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash drawer as the clerk opened the register.

Utility Bill Scam Appears To Come From Obama. If someone has offered you a $1,000 grant claiming to have come from the Obama administration to pay your utility bills, don’t go for it because it’s a scam. The Better Business Bureau of Maryland said the criminals give consumers an account routing number in exchange for their personal banking information and Social Security numbers. Somehow, the $1,000 then appears to have been deposited in the victims’ accounts, but it’s not.
