Mike Savani Voted Best Mortgage Broker

Mike Savani, a home mortgage consultant with Champion Realty Mortgage, was named best mortgage broker in the 2012 Readers Choice Awards sponsored by the Capital-Gazette Newspapers. Thousands of readers cast votes by mail and online to pick their local favorites in 100 categories of service.

“I care about getting people in the right loan program and making sure the process goes smoothly for them,” said Savani, a 20-year veteran of the mortgage business. “I’m pleased to think that my customers appreciate my efforts to listen to them, be responsive, and answer their questions.”

Savani has spent a total of 15 years with Champion Realty Mortgage. “He’s a leader in our company—someone we can all learn from,” Said Bryan Nagel, manager of the mortgage division. “Getting a mortgage today is a difficult process, given all the underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements, and Mike has a knack for putting customers at ease. You have to trust your mortgage consultant with your financial information and feel confident that he or she will give you good advice, pay attention to details, set clear expectations, and obtain the best interest rate possible. Mike exhibits true professionalism, and this award tells us that borrowers have noticed.”

“I was not surprised at all to hear that Mike Savani was chosen by the readers of The Capital as the best mortgage loan officer in the area. He really is that good,” said Jon Coile, CEO of the Champion Realty family of companies, including Mortgage, Title and Insurance. “At Champion Realty Mortgage we have a team of very experienced professionals who do an outstanding job in a challenging lending market. That makes it all the more impressive that our pros routinely look to Mike for his outlook and advice on how to structure some of the more difficult loans. He is a credit to the entire Champion organization and we are very proud that The Capital has selected him for this well-deserved recognition.”
