Three students, recent graduates from local high schools, have been named recipients of the IntelliGenesis Neal A. Sullivan Memorial scholarships for 2012.

Zachary D. Hood, a resident of Linthicum, graduated from North County High School with a 3.9 GPA. He will be attending University of Maryland at College Park majoring in electrical engineering which he plans to make his career. He is interning with the Department of Defense.

Mark Miller, who lives in Baltimore City, graduated from Digital Harbor High School with a 3.2 GPA. He plans to attend Towson University and major in computer science. He is currently participating in a Department of Defense contractor’s WORTHY program as an intern.

Craig S. Reiner, from Glen Burnie, graduated from North County High School with a 3.9 GPA. He will attend Frostburg State University majoring in electrical engineering. He is working this summer as an intern with the FBI in the Information Technology field. Craig received the Semper Fidelis Award for Musical Excellence from the U.S. Marine Corps and has served as Section Leader for his high school band.

The scholarships are named for Neal A. Sullivan, a senior intelligence analyst and one of the founding employees of IntelliGenesis, who worked for the company until his death in August 2009.  This fits with IntelliGenesis’s philosophy of contributing to the community as part of their business mission.

IntelliGenesis, founded in 2007 and headquartered in Columbia, MD, offers intelligence analysis, software development, artificial intelligence, and computer network operations to the intelligence community. Their advanced technologies protect and defend national security missions worldwide.
