Financial Aid Still Available At AACC

Don’t let tuition costs keep you from attending college this fall. Financial aid is still available at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC). In addition, the college has a no-fee interest-free payment plan that lets you spread the cost of tuition throughout a term.

Richard C. Heath, director of financial aid, said students can always apply for federal financial aid. To be eligible for aid, you must fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you need help completing the form, AACC financial aid staff can provide one-on-one assistance.

Students who need financial assistance must have approved financial aid or tuition assistance before they can enroll in fall classes. If students have not already done so, they are strongly encouraged to begin the FAFSA process now so that they can register in time for fall classes. Visit www.aacc.edu/aid today to find out how to get help from an AACC financial aid adviser.

Payment plans are also available. AACC offers a no-fee interest-free payment plan for students who register before Aug. 27. Under the payment plan, students pay just 20 percent of the total balance when registering for classes. They pay another 20 percent on Sept. 3, 30 percent on Oct. 1 and the final 30 percent on Nov. 1. A step-by-step guide to figuring out course costs is available by visiting www.aacc.edu/tuitionfees.
