Armed Robbery Leads To Shooting In Severn.  Police in Anne Arundel County said they’ve arrested one man and are looking to identify a second after an armed robbery at a home in Severn led to a shooting. Officers were called to the 1700 block of Severn Road around 2 a.m. Sunday after getting reports of a shooting. Witnesses told police that two men went into the back yard, pulled a gun on a 19-year-old man and announced a robbery. One of the men then shot at the victim, who was able to run away and not get injured.

Fire Officials Seek Public’s Help In Finding Arsonist.  The Anne Arundel County Fire Department is seeking the public’s help to find an arsonist. Firefighters were called to the Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Health Sciences Building at 2000 Medical Parkway at about 4:45 p.m. Saturday after a fire alarm sounded. Crews found a heavy odor of smoke in the area of the elevators where they discovered a small fire. The fire was quickly extinguished.

Glen Burnie Business Burglarized; Man Arrested. Police said they arrested one man in connection to a burglary at a business in Glen Burnie. Officers were called to Interstate Batteries in the 7400 block of Furnace Branch Road for a report of an alarm at about 2:17 a.m. Saturday. They discovered evidence of a forced entry into the business where a man entered the business, rummaged through it for a short period of time and ultimately fled on foot.

2 Men Arrested In Annapolis Stabbing.  Authorities said two people were taken into custody in connection with a stabbing in Annapolis. Officers were called to the area of Cape St. Claire Road and College Parkway in Annapolis at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday. They found the 22-year-old male victim in the 700 block of College Parkway East with an apparent stab wound to his upper torso. He was transported by Maryland State Police Medivac to Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore where he was in stable condition.
