Bay Bridge Spans Could Close For Maintenance.  Closures of Chesapeake Bay Bridge lanes could affect overnight traffic in the coming week. The Maryland Transportation Authority announced Friday that preservation and maintenance work could close the westbound span overnights and during one day. The work could also close the eastbound span during the days.

Armed Robber Poses As Law Enforcement In Hanover Heist.  The Anne Arundel County Police Department said they are looking for an armed robber who apparently posed at a law enforcement official. Authorities were called to the Food Lion in the 2600 block of Annapolis Road in Hanover at 7:54 a.m. on Friday. Police said a man entered the store and requested to speak with an employee. The robber was wearing items that made employees believe he was associated with law enforcement, police said. The robber then produced a handgun and announced a robbery.

Teens Assault, Rob Another Teen In Odenton. Police said two teens assaulted and robbed another teen in Odenton. A 17-year-old boy told Anne Arundel County police that he was walking on Quiet Spring Drive at about 7:50 p.m. Thursday when he was approached by two teens asking him if he knew a particular person. The victim said he didn’t know the person in question and continued walking when the pair punched and kicked the victim, knocking him down and stealing an undisclosed amount of money and personal property

 2 Injured In 3-Car Pasadena Crash.  Authorities said two people were injured in a three-car crash in Pasadena. Anne Arundel County police and fire departments were called to the area of Route 100 East and Magothy Bridge Road at about 4:09 p.m. Thursday. Police said a preliminary investigation found that 55-year-old Jeffrey Scott Sullivan, of Pasadena, was in a Toyota Highlander traveling east on Route 100 and approaching the intersection of Magothy Beach Road. Police said Sullivan had a green light and the right of way to proceed.
