With one out in the 14th inning, Ben Copeland drew a walk and stole second. The next batter, Roberto Perez, singled to left to knock in the game winning run.
In the fourth, the Aeros evened up the game. Kyle Bellows led off the inning by getting to second on a throwing error by pitcher Zach Britton. Chun Chen then singled to put runners at the corners. The next batter, Adam Abraham, hit a sacrifice fly to score Bellows and make the score 1-1.
The Aeros took the lead in the fifth inning. With two outs, Davis Stoneburner singled and stole second. Tim Fedroff then doubled to right to give the Aeros a 2-1 lead.
In the seventh inning, the Baysox tied the game back up. Buck Britton led off the inning with a double and went to third on a sacrifice bunt by Caleb Joseph. Two batters later, Antoan Richardson hit a sacrifice fly that made the score 2-2.
Jose De La Torre picked up his second win of the season throwing two scoreless innings with three strikeouts.
Britton, making his second rehab start with the Baysox, did not factor into the decision. He went seven innings and allowed two runs, one earned on five hits with five strikeouts. He got 12 groundball outs in the game.
Kyler Newby gave up the game winning run in the 14th and got the loss going 2.1 innings and allowing the one run on two hits with one walk.
The Baysox return home on tomorrow for a three-game series against the Reading Phillies. RHP Mike Wright (0-1, 6.00) will make his second start of the season against RHP Austin Hyatt (0-0, 0.00). The series will include the sixth annual Girl Scout lock-in, fireworks and Zumba Fitness Fest.
