Woman Found Dead Behind Anne Arundel Community College. A woman who appeared unconscious, slumped over in her car was actually dead, police said. Anne Arundel County police said Arundel Mills Mall security officers spotted the woman at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot behind the Anne Arundel Community College satellite building at 7009 Arundel Mills Circle. When fire emergency crews arrived, they determined that the woman was dead.

5 Sent To Shock Trauma After Pasadena Accident. A car carrying five young men struck a tree early Saturday morning, seriously injuring all the passengers. Anne Arundel County police said the car struck a tree in the area of Ridge Road and Stoney Creek Drive in Pasadena shortly after midnight Friday. Police said and 18-year-old man driving, two 18-year-old passengers and two 17-year-old passengers were taken to Shock Trauma, where each man was last listed in serious but stable condition.

Former Teacher Sues Anne Arundel County Schools For $8 Million. A former Anne Arundel County teacher has filed an age-discrimination lawsuit against the school system, saying she was bypassed for promotion in favor of younger teachers. Christine Davenport, 62, filed her multimillion-dollar federal lawsuit this week in U.S. District Court in Baltimore, The Baltimore Sun reported. Davenport joined the school system in 1972 and spent years teaching gifted students at MacArthur Middle School.

Separate Crashes Send Victims To Shock Trauma.  Two victims in separate crashes across Anne Arundel County were taken to Shock Trauma with serious head trauma, police said. County police in the Annapolis area were called shortly after 5:30 p.m. Friday to East College Parkway near Revell Downs, where two cars collided. A woman in one of the cars who suffered significant head trauma was flown to Shock Trauma, where she was last listed in serious but stable condition.
