Diverging Diamond To Replace Circles At Arundel MillsConstruction of a “diverging diamond interchange” will close a Baltimore-Washington Parkway exit for about a month. The Maryland State Highway Administration is warning drivers that the Arundel Mills Boulevard exit ramp from the southbound B-W Parkway/Maryland Route 295 will close early this month as construction crews build the new $5 million interchange and complete local road improvements.

Man Who Dressed As “Frosty” Arrested Again. A man who was arrested while dressed as Frosty the Snowman during a holiday parade has been charged again. Kevin Walsh, 53, of Chestertown, was arrested Sunday and charged with disorderly conduct and other offenses. He was released on his own recognizance, according to Chestertown police.

Jury Seated In Election Fraud Trial. Political consultant Julius Henson said Tuesday in court that he is on trial for the robocalls in the 2010 election because he worked for the “wrong” political side. Henson is the second man to face prosecution for robocalls suggesting the 2010 gubernatorial election was over before the polls had closed. Henson, who went to work for former Republican Gov. Bob Ehrlich, authored the robocall that was sent to more than 100,000 voters in Baltimore City and Prince George’s County.

Salad Bars To Sprout At Baltimore Schools. HBO and Whole Foods Markets are in Maryland to promote a program encouraging school children to put salad bars in public schools. Gov. Martin O’Malley, other elected officials and representatives from HBO and Whole Foods Market’s Whole Kids Foundation are scheduled Tuesday to launch the “Let’s Move! Salad Bars to School” program at Calvin Rodwell Elementary in northwest Baltimore.
