Rabies Clinic To Offer Pet Immunizations.  A planned rabies clinic in Anne Arundel County will offer free vaccinations for pets who belong to low-income residents.The free rabies clinic is scheduled for May 20 at the Owensville Primary Care Health Center’s parking lot (134 Owensville Road in West River).

Pickup Truck Driver Veers Off Route 10, Hits Tree, Dies.  The driver of a pickup truck who veered off Route 10 and struck a tree in Glen Burnie has died.Anne Arundel County police said the driver, Rafet Gerigiden, somehow left the highway just south of Furnace Branch Road shortly before 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. Police said the crash trapped Gerigiden in his pickup truck and caused substantial damage. Gerigiden, 42, of Glen Burnie, was pronounced dead at the scene.

 Nearly $5K In Cash, Drugs, Seized In Glen Burnie.  Narcotics detectives executing a routine search warrant Wednesday seized almost $5,000 in prescription pain medication at an Anne Arundel County house, police said. County police said the officers were working on numerous complaints from residents about drug-related activity at a house in the 1200 block of Kimberly Lane in Glen Burnie. Police said detectives arrested two people and seized $4,800 worth of prescription pain medications, a small amount of marijuana and more than $1,500 in cash.
Girls Report Stranger In, Around Linthicum Elementary School Bathroom.  Elementary school students saw a man in or around a bathroom on their Linthicum campus Friday, according to school officials in Anne Arundel County. According to a letter sent home to parents of Linthicum Elementary School students, a girl reported seeing the stranger outside a girls’ bathroom near fourth- and fifth-grade classrooms. Another girl reported seeing the man inside the bathroom. Both students said the man did not say anything to them and he made no attempts to touch them.
