B-W Parkway Exit At Arundel Mills to Close For Month.  Construction of a first-of-its-kind “diverging diamond” highway exit ramp will close a Baltimore-Washington Parkway exit for about a month. The Maryland State Highway Administration is warning drivers that the Arundel Mills Boulevard exit ramp from the southbound B-W Parkway/Maryland Route 295 will close for construction crews to build the new interchange.

Security Training Drills At BWI. Travelers passing through Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport on Tuesday may see police activity. The airport announced police and security agencies will be conducting a training exercise Tuesday morning and afternoon. The exercise is not open to the public.

4 Honored For Service Above Self.  Four people enjoyed a delicious meal in their honor Sunday as they received 2012 Service Above Self awards. The Rotary Clubs of Annapolis, Parole, South Anne Arundel County and Annapolis Evening celebrated the winners at an awards dinner in Annapolis, attended by 200 Rotary Club members and their guests. Peter Kyle, of the Rotary Club of Potomac, was the keynote speaker.

MD Court Of Appeals: Pit Bulls Are Inherently Dangerous. A Maryland Court of Appeals ruling issued last week clears the way for a Towson family’s lawsuit against the owner of a dog that bit a boy in 2007. In its ruling for Tracey v. Solesky, the state’s highest court deems pit bulls inherently dangerous animals regardless of the dog, its owner or any training.
