Local growers will be selling their products directly to the public in an open air setting. This market will be held every Friday from 4 – 7 pm until the end of October.
“Buying from local growers guarantees that you are getting the freshest possible fruits, vegetables, and food products. It is also a “green” way to shop; foods produced and sold locally reduce fuel consumption,” said Dori Ball, property manager for Clock Tower Place. “We already have shops selling fresh meats, cheeses, prepared foods, breads, bakery items, and wine. Fresh produce from the new farmers’ market makes it even easier for people to shop for quality food in one convenient Annapolis location”.
Produce offerings will vary as the season progresses. Initially, late spring vegetables, the first corn of the season, organic heirloom tomatoes, and vegetable seedlings will be sold.
