Circulator Trolley To Run Into Eastport During Commissioning Week

Annapolis Mayor Joshua J. Cohen announces that the Circulator Trolley is servicing Eastport during the United States Naval Academy’s Commissioning Week activities.

Residents notified Mayor Cohen about the large number of rental units in Eastport that accommodate families during Commissioning Week. An additional Circulator trolley has been put into service to specifically move people from Eastport into downtown Annapolis.

The public can catch the Circulator trolley at the Eastport Shopping Center, located at 1031 Bay Ridge Avenue, or anywhere along the route by simply raising their hand and motioning to the driver.

The trolley will travel along Bay Ridge Avenue, to Chesapeake Avenue, turning on 6th Street, cross the Eastport Bridge, travel down Compromise Street, turning onto Main Street, around Church Circle, down Duke of Gloucester Street and back across the bridge.

The hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily through Tuesday, May 29.
