The Annapolis Police Department has responded to three calls for service in Eastport in the last week for discharging of firearms. The incidents occurred on 4/24, 4/27, and 4/30.
Unoccupied vehicles were struck by bullets in the first two incidents. On Monday night a projectile broke the front window of an apartment and the bullet was located inside.
Thankfully, no one has been injured.
The Annapolis Police Department has stepped up enforcement in the area by assigning extra officers to patrol Eastport Terrace and Harbor House. Detectives have been assigned to investigate these incidents and are actively following leads. These incidents do not appear to be random but targeted activity.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call the Annapolis Police Department at 410-268-9000.
